The New Covenant is not the removal of YAH’s standard.

The New Covenant is the transformation of the son of God so that obedience comes from the heart rather than merely from external compulsion.

Romans 3:31 (KJV)

“Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.”

1 John 5:3 (KJV)

“For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.”

And thus the testimony of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation is one: the righteous love YAH, and because they love Him, they keep His commandments.
