New Moon Service
The Beginning of Month Appointed time with YAH.

The Beginning of Month Appointed time with YAH.

Ro 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

What are commanded from the Law: (Numbers 28) Particularly for the New Moon Service

Nu 28:11 And in the beginnings of your months ye shall offer a burnt offering unto the LORD; two young bullocks, and one ram, seven lambs of the first year without spot;

Nu 28:12 And three tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, for one bullock; and two tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, for one ram;
Nu 28:13 And a several tenth deal of flour mingled with oil for a meat offering unto one lamb; for a burnt offering of a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.

Nu 28:14 And their drink offerings shall be half an hin of wine unto a bullock, and the third part of an hin unto a ram, and a fourth part of an hin unto a lamb: this is the burnt offering of every month throughout the months of the year.

Requirements:

Nu 10:10 Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.

Beginning of your months = New Moons

Laws concerning No labor or trade on Holy Days:

Ne 10:31 And if the people of the land bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it of them on the sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we would leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.

What YAH does not want from His people.

Isaiah 1:1 The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
3
The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.
4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

YAH does not want a sinful nation (or people) bringing sacrifices to Him and offering them to Him while they are in sin. Not even you and I does He want to present ourselves to Him in this condition.

5
Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
6 From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.
7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.
8 And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.
9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.
10 Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.

Israel is being compared to Sodom and Gomorrah, YAH is not actually talking to the leaders of Sodom and Gomorrah but to Israel because there behavior is like Sodom and Gomorrah.
11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
12 When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?

YAH is asking Israel “why are you bringing ME all these sacrifices at the appointed times when you are continually in willful sin against me. “
13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear
them.
15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

YAH does not want any sacrifice from any person or nation that is in continual sin before him. He actually hates sacrifices or any observance(s) that involve Him when we are in willful sin. He says don’t do it, don’t approach Him in this condition.

16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

YAH appeals to Israel to come and get cleaned up and then keep the feast days, the new moon and the sabbaths along with offering their associated sacrifices. He is not eliminating the requirements of those appointed times.

Col 2:13 ¶ And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

Here the scriptures are setting the context for the next verses. You were dead in your sins and Messiah forgave you all of your trepasses that you committed in the past (not future) see:

Ro 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Ordinance describes the judgements (charges and penalties) for transgression of the Law. So Messiah blotted out all the judgements (charges and penalties) that were against you for your transgressions. He did not wipe out the Law or remove it. He gave you a clean record.

Col 2:16 ¶ Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

In light of what we now know ordinance means (jugments). This verse is saying two things. One don’t let anyone judge you of your past transgressions, they have been forgiven. But also you are not to transgress again in eating unclean, or drinking in excess or not keeping the holydays, or new moon or sabbath days. The law commands that you keep the dietary laws, and all appointed holidays of YAH. If you fail to do so then you are once again in transgression and under the charges and penalties (ordinances) of the Law.

It is there saying

Col 2:16 ¶ Let no man therefore find you in transgression (violating the law) in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

This is what got you in trouble to begin with. Keep the commandments so you don’t come back under judgment for transgression.

Colossians 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

THINGS TO COME; WHAT WE WILL DO IN THE FUTURE:

Isaiah 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
23 And it shall come to pass,
that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

Colossians 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? (Keep the commandments and doctorines of YAH not men!)
23 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

Ro 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

The requirement to keep the Law of YAH including is appointed days including the beginning of Month (New Moon) have be well established. Israel and including the Church are required to keep these appointed times. Not say you can’t judge me if I don’t keep the Law, but contrary the Law which still effect judges you if you transgress.

You now know!

Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
